New Requirements for Parcels Sent from Poland

Why have the requirements for parcels sent from Poland changed?

Due to stricter GDPR requirements in Poland, Polish courier companies have started hiding personal information on parcel labels, such as the recipient’s name, telephone number and other personal details.

As a result, our Poland warehouse may not always be able to identify which EshopWedrop customer a parcel belongs to based on the courier label alone.

What do I need to do when ordering from Poland?

To make sure your parcel can be identified and allocated to your EshopWedrop account quickly, you must complete at least one of the following:

Option 1 – Pre-notify us about your parcel

Before your parcel arrives at our Poland warehouse:

  • Register the incoming parcel in your EshopWedrop account.

  • Enter the correct tracking number provided by the Polish retailer or courier.

  • Make sure the tracking number registered in your account matches the tracking number shown on the parcel.

Option 2 – Use your EshopWedrop Poland address exactly as shown in your account

When ordering from a Polish retailer:

  • Copy your Poland delivery address exactly as it appears in your EshopWedrop account.

  • Most importantly, make sure your EshopWedrop Client ID is included in the address line.

Where can I find my EshopWedrop Poland delivery address?

You can find your Poland delivery address, including your Client ID, in your EshopWedrop account.

Please copy the address exactly as displayed when placing an order with a Polish retailer.

What is my EshopWedrop Client ID and why is it important?

Your Client ID helps our Poland warehouse identify your parcel and allocate it to the correct EshopWedrop account.

Because Polish couriers may hide personal information on parcel labels, including your Client ID in the delivery address is especially important for identifying your parcel.

Do I need to register my tracking number before the parcel arrives?

You should register your tracking number before delivery whenever possible.

Pre-notifying us and providing the correct tracking number allows our warehouse to identify and allocate your parcel more quickly.

What happens if I enter the wrong tracking number?

The tracking number registered in your EshopWedrop account should match the tracking number shown on the parcel.

If it does not match, our warehouse may not be able to identify your parcel using the registered tracking information.

What happens if my Client ID is missing from the delivery address?

If your Client ID is missing, our warehouse may still be able to identify the parcel if you have already registered the correct tracking number in your EshopWedrop account.

However, if both the Client ID and registered tracking number are missing, additional procedures will be required to identify and allocate your parcel.

What happens if I don't register my tracking number and don't include my Client ID?

If your parcel arrives at our Poland warehouse:

  • without a registered tracking number, and

  • without your EshopWedrop Client ID clearly included in the delivery address,

our warehouse will need to carry out additional procedures to identify the parcel and allocate it to your account.

In this situation, the repacking/identification fee will be charged for the parcel.

Processing of your parcel may also be delayed.

Will I be charged if I forget to pre-notify my parcel?

Not necessarily.

You need to complete at least one of the two requirements: either register the correct tracking number before delivery or ensure that your Client ID is correctly included in your Poland delivery address.

The additional repacking/identification fee applies when the parcel arrives without both a registered tracking number and a clearly included Client ID.

How can I avoid the additional repacking/identification fee?

The safest approach is to:

  1. Register your parcel and tracking number before it arrives at our Poland warehouse, whenever possible; and

  2. Always use your Poland delivery address exactly as displayed in your EshopWedrop account, including your Client ID.

Following both steps gives our warehouse the best chance of identifying and processing your parcel quickly.

Could my parcel be delayed if I don't follow these requirements?

Yes. If our warehouse needs to carry out additional procedures to identify your parcel, its processing may be delayed.

Registering your tracking number in advance and correctly including your Client ID in the delivery address helps prevent unnecessary delays.

Does this requirement apply to parcels sent to the EshopWedrop Poland warehouse?

Yes. These requirements concern parcels being delivered to the EshopWedrop Poland warehouse.

What is the recommended way to make sure my parcel is processed smoothly?

For the smoothest and fastest processing, we strongly recommend doing both:

Pre-notify your parcel + use the exact EshopWedrop Poland address with your Client ID.

This helps our warehouse identify your parcel quickly, reduces the risk of delays and helps you avoid additional identification charges.
